I probably should have gone into marketing. Writing, recruitment. It’s essentially marketing. Though if I had, I likely wouldn’t be doing this now! Amazing the journey life takes you on.
I was actually thinking about this at the Embarc Conference as this is essentially what Career Arc does. And a lot of what was shared was this idea that your Employment Brand is your overall brand. You cannot have 2 separate messages! Your employees, your candidates do not see a difference and if there are 2 different messages, you already know you will lost candidates. So, why not just work with Marketing from the beginning?
